The Falcon is an independent cinema with a team of dedicated and passionate film experts who bring their diverse backgrounds and love of cinema to every screening. Discover the faces of the Falcon team and their unique perspectives on film and the film industry.

Jacqueline Nsiah is a cultural anthropologist, freelance film curator and programmer. She holds a MA in Visual and Media Anthropology from the Free University in Berlin and a BA in African Studies and Politics from SOAS. Jacqueline Nsiah published her MA final thesis titled “Returning From Exile”, a research project on the return of Ghanaian diaspora to Ghana.
Her almost two decades experience of working with film festivals across the world in various capacities, includes the positions as Co-director for the Cambridge African Film Festival in 2008, Producer of the Real-Life Documentary Film Festival in Accra, Assistant Producer of the Rio International Film Festival and Guest Manager in the Panorama Section of the Berlinale.
Other past positions include Co-director and Curator of the African film festival, UHURU, in Rio de Janeiro, Programmer for Film Africa London and Programme Director at the Africa Film Society, Ghana. Nsiah worked as a project manager on an African industry film platform for the Goethe Institut and was part of the selection committee for Berlinale-Forum for four editions and co-curated the special programme Fiktionsbescheinigung. She is part of the Berlinale selection committee for the Competition and co-curates for the Africa Film Festival Cologne (AFFK).
